Index Value Guide
Understand how index values and arrow indicators work.
Each skin has a stability label that describes how it trades relative to its listed base value.
Hyped
Hyped Stability is given to skins temporarily inflated due to recent events, trends or changes. They are heavily overpaid for and can have value impacted by the stability.
Rising
Rising Stability represents skins that are increasing in value. They have better demand and consistently trade for more than their base value.
Overpaid
Skins with the Overpaid stability constantly receive offers higher than their base value. They have better demand compared to other skins and trade more easily.
Fluctuating
Skins with the Fluctuating Stability are inconsistent and have not stabilized yet. Their value may increase or decrease.
Dynamic
Dynamic Stability mostly serves as the consistent version of Fluctuating, with offers shifting above or below an unlikely-to-change value.
Scarce
Scarce Stability is assigned to skins with low demand that can often receive offers surpassing their listed base value due to the rarity of the skin, lack of circulation, or limited availability within the market.
Stable
Skins with the Stable stability reliably trade at their listed base value. Their price remains steady and are not very likely to change.
Unstable
Skins with the Unstable Stability have not settled to their true value. Unlike Fluctuating, Unstable skins are more likely to decrease over time.
Decreasing
Decreasing Stability represents skins that are decreasing in value. They have bad demand and consistently trade for less than their base value.
Underpaid
Skins with the Underpaid Stability receive offers below their base value. They have low demand and are hard to trade.
Index values represent the most accurate value worth of a skin in terms of other items, bypassing all details including stability and demand. The arrows next to each item define the offer range for that skin.
↑ Up Arrow
The ↑ arrow next to a skin's index value item indicates the minimum offer of the selected skin.
↓ Down Arrow
The ↓ arrow next to a skin's index value item indicates the maximum offer of the selected skin.
↑↓ Up-Down Arrow
The ↑↓ arrow next to a skin's index value item indicates the average offer of the selected skin.
